The Users page in Maple GRC allows you to define and manage the members of your department or organization. Each person’s name, email, title, employment type, job function, direct manager, and access level is recorded here. Maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date records helps ensure that the right individuals have the appropriate access and are included in compliance‑related tasks and communications.
Go to app.maplegrc.com.
Log in with your account credentials.
From the homepage, navigate to the Users Page section.
Click Add Member to Add New Member
Opens a menu with two options:
Add From Organization Members: Select an existing user from your organization and add them to the department.
Add New Member: Create a brand-new member by entering their Name and Email (required), plus additional details like Title, Employment Type, Role, and Job Functions.
Help Icon (?) – Opens a side panel with guidance about who qualifies as a department member and what information should be entered.
Regularly review and update the Users Page to ensure it reflects your current team.
Info to add for each member
Enter the required fields (Name, Email Address, Role in mapleGRC).
Select Job Functions to define the member’s responsibilities.
Job Functions are standardized roles in Maple GRC.
You may not find an exact match for your job title — choose the closest function that represents your responsibilities.
Multiple job functions can be selected if applicable.
Always assign Job Functions, since they determine task assignments and responsibilities in the compliance workflow.
Assign a Role in Maple GRC (User or Administrator).
Administrator: Implements standards and manages users.
User: Takes training and reviews & signs policies.
Choose Employment Type and Direct Manager if relevant.
Check Send Invitation Email if you want Maple GRC to email the user.
Click Save to finalize.
Row Actions Per User
For each listed member, the three-dot menu includes:
Send Invitation – Sends a Maple GRC invitation email to the user.
Edit – Opens the member’s details for updating. You can modify title, job functions, role, or manager. (Note: email cannot be changed).
Delete – Removes the member from the department (cannot be undone).
click Export to generate a PDF report of all current members before audits to provide a snapshot of your organizational structure.
Use Add to Evidence to record the Users Page in your compliance evidence library.

Navigation
Go to Software Assets – Quick access to the Assets tab to manage department software.
Tabs (Identification / People / Assets) – Switch between defining the department, managing users, and managing assets.
Back Arrow – Returns to the previous department overview page.
Click the How This Page button to watch a short demo video that walks you through the page step by step.
By adding team members, you can manage your team in MapleGRC — asking them to review and approve policies, assign users as owners responsible for technical controls, and assign training with certificates for each one and so on.
Add members on the Users page. They will be reflected on the Roles, Responsibilities & Authority page, where AI will create their roles and responsibilities.
